Uri Ivgi from Israel and Johan Greben from the Netherlands began their individual dance careers at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and the Dutch National Ballet. The dance artists have now been working successfully together as choreographers for 17 years and their work is performed by leading companies all over the world.
IVGI&GREBEN have also been producing work in the Netherlands again since last year. Their first Dutch production was premiered at the Leeuwarden European Capital of Culture 2018. The piece is now being followed up by The Dreamers, a part of which will be performed at the opening of the Dutch Dance Days on Tuesday 1st October. On Sunday 6th October, the choreographers will also be allowing the public and dance colleagues a glimpse behind the scenes in an open studio. The ultimate opportunity to become further acquainted with the choreographers, the dancers and their latest work.
The programme is free, but you should still reserve your tickets.
