Mission
The Dutch Dance Festival places the heritage, topicality and future of Dutch dance centre stage. It presents, celebrates and encourages the diversity of the sector for a national and international, general and professional audience. It increases the appreciation and involvement of the audience for Dutch dance, pursues innovation and makes a sustainable contribution to the dance landscape in the Netherlands.

Objective
The Dutch Dance Festival is a public festival that honours, encourages and promotes the development of Dutch dance. The Festival presents conspicuous developments with a programme of reprises, premieres, work in progress and special festival productions and an annual State of the Art of Dutch dance.

Remuneration Policy
The remuneration policy and the amount of the remuneration components are set by the board. The policy is updated annually. The members of the board are unpaid and do not receive a fee or expenses. When deciding the salaries of its personnel, the Dutch Dance Festival [Stichting De Nederlandse Dansdagen] follows the guidelines of the Dutch Stage and Dance Collective Bargaining Agreement [CAO Nederlands Toneel en Dans].
