We look forward to welcoming you at the Nederlandse Dansdagen! It has been an eventful year due to the corona measures for theater visits, but we are happy that we can look forward to experiencing live dance again.
Through this road we would like to inform you about the measures in force during the upcoming festival. The health of our visitors, employees and dancers is paramount. When visiting the live festival in Maastricht, you as a visitor must be in possession of a valid Corona test certificate.
Below you will find more information about how this will be applied during the festival.
What is a Corona test certificate?
This can be a negative test result (test proof), a vaccination certificate or proof that you have recovered from corona (proof of recovery). You must convert this into a QR code in the CoronaCheck app or printed via CoronaCheck.nl. Only then will you have a valid Corona admission ticket.
You can obtain the Corona admission ticket in one of the following ways:
TEST RECEIPT - A negative test result less than 24 hours before the event. You can make an appointment for a corona test at an affiliated test location in your area via https://www.testenvoor access.org/. You will receive a collection code via your test location that you can convert into a QR-code in the CoronaCheck app or via www.coronacheck.nl. We scan this code at the entrance. Please note: you can only book your appointment for a corona test 2 weeks before the date of the event.
PROOF OF VACCINATION - Evidence of a complete corona vaccination with a vaccine approved by the EMA. From 10 July a vaccination is valid in the Netherlands from 14 days after you have been fully vaccinated.
PROOF OF RECOVERY - Have you had corona and can you demonstrate this with a positive PCR test? Then you can upload a proof of recovery in the CoronaCheck app. This happens automatically when you log in to the app with your DigiD. This will only work if the positive test is between 12 days and 180 days old.
What happens upon entry?
Your QR code will be scanned at the entrance. This is your valid Corona ticket. You either show this QR code on your phone in the CoronaCheck app or you have already printed it at home via CoronaCheck.nl.
Please don't forget your proof of identity when you visit. Our employee will compare the details of your proof of identity with the details in the Corona admission ticket.
The Digital Corona Certificate (DCC)
From 1 July 2021, international visitors within the EU can use the Digital Corona Certificate (DCC) to gain access to events and activities in the Netherlands, including the Nederlandse Dansdagen.
Do you have a DCC with a test certificate? Then your negative test at the start of the event may not be older than 24 hours. Is this the case? Then get tested again to gain entry for the event. And then upload your new test proof in the CoronaCheck app.
Purchased tickets can be exchanged free of charge for another performance at the UITbalie of Theater aan het Vrijthof, or by telephone (+31 43 350 55 55), up to 24 hours before the start of the performance. If you exchange tickets for a more expensive performance, you must pay the difference.
You can also return tickets up to 24 hours before the start of the performance. You then only pay an administration fee of € 6 per ticket as a regular customer, or € 3 per ticket if you are a season ticket holder.
For other questions about ticket sales and applicable corona measures, please contact the UIT desk of Theater aan het Vrijthof from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 18:00. This can be done by telephone (+ 31 43 350 55 55) or email (email@example.com).
