VSCD Young Swans 2022

During the 25th edition of the Nederlandse Dansdagen, the VSCD youth dance prizes will be awarded for the first time: the Young Swans. Like the established Swans, this prize consists of two categories, for the most impressive youth dance production and youth dance performance.

This addition to the prestigious Swans recognizes the quality and importance of dance for a youth and youth audience.

De Jonge Zwaan is an initiation of the entire youth dance field. The Sounding Board Group Youth Dance was installed under the wings of the Nederlandse Dansdagen, which resulted in an independent initiative to create a new dance prize, now also supported by the VSCD.

We are therefore very proud to name the first nominees and winners of the Young Swans below.
